In Search of the Miraculous presents a 'cybernetic laboratory' that uses toy-like contemporary information-gathering techniques to invite the observer and the observed to come together to outline the interrelationships of the parties to the experiment. The constant techno-sound and the colour changes in the four corners of the screen are both streams of data generated by the meaningless movements of the source free bird.
